  1. I would like to use my Richmond Slimline Filofax as a journal. Is there paper for my Filo that would accommodate my writing with a fountain pen?

    1. Not sure about the paper size for your Slimline, but if nothing else you could get something like Rhodia paper, cut it to size and punch with a Filofax punch......

Just a thought if you can't find other paper for it....

    2. Dear ArchiMark, What a Doll you are for your brilliant idea. This will be a keen choice needed for fountain pen writing. Thank you Smarty Pants for you spot alternative!

  2. I have a Filofax 4CLF 5/4 (brown). It has never been used, having just sat in a drawer for many years, thus it is in pristine condition. It was a corporate gift and inside on one of the flaps it is embossed with 3 symbols - these being for East West Records, Warner Music & WEA Records. I was wondering how much a Filofax like this would be worth and whether the fact that it has these 'trade marks' embossed, would increase or decrease it's value to a collector ?

    1. The large ring models tend to command a higher price, and could go for £80 or a lot more. For me, the marks you mention would make it less desirable, but they may have a specific attraction for some. Marks from a particular shop, rather than promotional ones like yours, probably have a broader appeal. Examples would be Harrods, Liberty or Paul Smith.

  3. I was wondering if there are any folders or envelopes that would fit the A5 size Filofax other than those made by Filofax? Thanks. Happy Holidays!

  4. Do you archive your old pages in an unused binder or do you throw them out?

    1. I archive mine, normally put an treasury tag through the holes and that keeps the pages all together. I don't often have to refer back to them but when I have had to it has been very valuable, particularly in a legal case a year or so ago...
