Tell us about...... 9

Whilst finishing off yesterday's post the other night and going through the photographs for the French Meet Up post, it occurred to me that some of us do spend quite a lot of money on our planners. Or put another way, we have a lot of money tied up in our planners.

Have you ever calculated what your total spend is on your planner collection? And if you have what was the total figure?

Please tell us in the comments below.

  1. As both a long term user and collector it must add up to several thousand GBP. Probably one of those things it's best not to dwell on, but, equally, I'm sure there are other, more expensive hobbies/interests.

    1. To paraphrase Max: As both a long term user and more recent collector it must add up to several thousand dollars. Probably one of those things it's best not to dwell on, but, equally, I'm sure I have spent far less on my Filofax and other planners than others spend on alcohol or cigarettes.

  5. What's funny is I will put an article of clothing back on the rack because of cost, but don't think anything about how much I drop on a planner!

  6. Prob $300-400 usd. I have only a modest collection of 4, inserts (most diy, many bought), stickers (some decorative but most functional icon type), and various whatnots.

  7. 3 000 € for all my planners (I reduced my collection :D !) is the amount that I try not to exceed now, that is why when I want to buy a new planner, I force myself to sell another one ;) Who says better ??? :D .. I know some .. :D

  11. Brand new value or what I paid? Quite a few are second hand rather than sparkly new.

1 x EC Hourly (I bought for £20 but new would have been closer to £40 I think)
2 x Love from Poppy TN's - one new one second hand both would be able £50 total
1 x A5 Original Green Filofax - I bought second hand new it would be £90ish
    1 x Saffiano Zip Organiser - adopted from a swaps table. New it's £40
2 x Midori TNs - new these would be £45 each but i bought second hand.

So maybe getting on for £300ish

  13. I think I am around EUR 3,000, which is a lot. But what I buy needs to be of high standard. And that is what I have. Specially my older models of Filofax and my custom made VDS are my favorite!
